Beck’s

You know at really fancy meals, how they bring you tiny scoops of sorbet in between courses? As a palette cleanser? Well, that’s kind of how this beer works. It’s got a fresh and strong, almost minty, and will clear your mouth of any taste and get you ready for the next one.

Of all the beers I’ve reviewed so far, Beck’s is a safe favorite. It’s got all the kick of a cheap beer like Miller Lite, but…it tastes good. Some people complain about a strong aftertaste–and it is bitter–but it’s not unpleasant.

This beer is a little too good to screw around with–please don’t spill it all over your floor–but it’s definitely not too good to drink a lot of. Drink it out of bottles with a small group of friends, or have a couple before going to a party. It’s a great way to start a long night. Enjoy.
